Bob Bradley: Rock and Roll Poet

Like many others in this best of all possible worlds, I learned to sing like a bird in church. Sang thus in various and sundry church choirs. In high school, varsity chorus and madrigals. Studied history and practice of popular music until, at the age of 30, I began to compose and perform my own songs.

The road from there to here has been fraught with delight, peril, adventure, terror, challenge and fulfillment, and more challenge.. . Gratitude extended in perpetuity for guidance from my mentors and teachers. The song of the universe is always singing, and I strive to keep my listening and my demonstration transparent to the muse and to the music of the spheres.

William Blake maintains, "Eternity is in love with the productions of time." In the times of these productions, I have been in love with eternity, a sometimes turbulent, always provocative affair reflected in these fruits of my artistic endeavors.

As with all other sections of this site, the Music link demonstrates a work-in-progress, a representation of my work in this field. Other artifacts and materials will be uploaded periodically to flesh out my 'ouevre'--a growing body of work that reflects one human's tryst with the life of our times.
